Jeff Wood leads GE Appliances’ Quality team, which focuses on reducing the overall cost of quality to the business. He is responsible for the manufactured and purchased quality for GE Appliances.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He is also a graduate of the Edison Engineering Program.

Jeff has 24 years of GE experience in design engineering, new product introduction, management and quality. He has worked in GE businesses, including Lighting, Consumer & Industrial and Appliances. Some of Jeff’s past positions include Manager of Electric Range Design, Range Technology Manager, General Manager of Refrigeration Technology, General Manager of Global Lighting Technology and General Manager of New Product Introduction.

In his previous role as General Manager of Refrigeration Technology, Jeff was responsible for driving the technical development required to launch new cost effective platforms to meet the 2014 Department of Energy standards. He also led the team to design and manufacture the first bottom freezer refrigerator platform at Appliance Park.
