Jon Leverence is the Chief Information Officer at GE Appliances.

Jon attended Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin, earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Software Engineering in 1984. In 1989, he earned his MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Jon began his career at GE Medical Systems in 1984 as a Software Engineer in the Computed Tomography (CT) business and held Project Lead and Program Manager positions in GEMS engineering organizations.

Jon has held various CIO roles within GE, including CIO of GE Healthcare—U.S. & Canada Regions, based in Wauwatosa, Wsiconsin; CIO of GE Enterprise Solutions'business, headquartered in Albany, New York; CIO of GE Healthcare’s Clinical Systems’ business, headquartered in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; and GE Transportation Systems’ Global Signaling business, located in Blue Springs, Missouri.  In these roles, he has been responsible for leading businesssimplification efforts, major program deployments and global site support. 

In 1999, he graduated from GE’s Experienced Information Management Program (EIMP).

Jon resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
